Add or remove app access#

To add or remove access to an application for a portal user, you must be logged in as a portal administrator. The following steps describe how to add or remove access to an application for a portal user.

Note

The portal user must already be registered with the portal and have an active account. By default, the portal users do not have access to any applications.

Launch the portal by entering the following URL in a browser window:
```
http://portal.<hostname>.<domain_name>:<tr_port>
```
Sign in using your portal administrator credentials. By default, these are:
- Username: admin
- Password: admin
The portal opens to its Home page.
Go to the Settings page by clicking the Settings link in the navigation tree.

The Settings page opens.
Click on the Edit menu icon (three vertical dots) on the card for the application for which you want to add or remove user access, and select Manage Access.

The Manage Access dialog opens.
In the Manage Access dialog, you can see the Users and Groups sections.
- To add a user, select the user from “Select users for access” dropdown.
- Select the level of the access you want to grant the user from the Access level dropdown. The available access levels are:
  - Editor: The user can Edit the application but delete or provide access to other users.
  - Owner: The user can Edit the application, delete it, and provide access to other users.
- Click the Submit button. The user is added to the list of users with access to the application.
- To remove a user, Open the Manage Access dialog and click the x button next to the user’s name and click the Submit button.
- Similarly access to application can be managed for groups by selecting the group from “Select groups for access” dropdown and clicking the Submit button to add or clicking the x button next to the group’s name to remove access.
